The exam is intended for people who want to officially confirm their knowledge of Polish. Depending on the result achieved, the candidate may receive a certificate at B1 or B2 level.

The exam consists of a written and an oral part. It assesses the main language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Before the exam, candidates can also take preparation classes and practise with mock tests.
You should bring a valid photo ID, such as a passport or identity card. You will also need a soft pencil, a pencil sharpener and an eraser.
The standard waiting time for the exam result and certificate is approximately 6 weeks from the exam date. In exceptional cases, this period may be longer.
